Mindful art night on Sept. 26
Dear Thay, Dear Sangha,
Instead of our usual Thursday evening Sangha meeting on Sept. 26, we’ll be gathering, along with dharma teacher Viviane Ephraimson-Abt, with Wake Up Denver for a Mindful Evening of Creativity and Community Building at our usual meeting place. Please read the flyer below for the details—no fee or registration is needed to attend.
Eyes members please note that the event begins at 6:30 pm, earlier than our usual start time. We’re really looking forward to this, and hope to see you there!
Wake Up Denver!
We are pleased to introduce a new subgroup of the Eyes of Compassion Sangha for young adult practitioners: Wake Up Denver. This is a meditation and mindfulness group in the Plum Village tradition for folks in their 20’s and 30’s. The group will practice sitting meditation, walking meditation, Dharma reading, and deep sharing and deep listening. Meetings will happen on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays beginning March 2, 2022 from 6:30-8:00pm at the University Park United Methodist Church, 2180 S. University Blvd., Denver, Colorado. Attendees, please enter through the North facing door by the parking lot with the rainbow ‘Welcome’ sign. See the attached flyer (below) for more details.
